What else could be more adequate for my annually recurring Halloween Happening Now Tasting than a brute and flashy appearing bottle filled with customary rather light bodied Nero di Troja … however in this case with a quite intimidating alcohol indication of 15%! Let's see where this is heading … honestly I expect a genuine partner for this very horror evening:
7:39 pm (popped approx. two hours ago)
Hue: deep garnet with a slight tendency towards mild purple, overall quite radiant and no trace of mentionable particles
Conk: sincerely boiled forest berries – mostly bramble, imaginary rock sugar, cinnamon, baked apple, perhaps some cotton candy, cold steel, marzipan, mild smoke, doggy flatulence, brute spearmint … not really that ethereal
Tongue: Christmas spices all around, butt loads of rock sugar (not imaginary) – a veritable sheer sugar attack, boiled berries – not all too dark ones, punchy and pungent-clumsy mouth feel, certain tannin structure, reduced ethereal sensation (so far), detectable acid which gives it a hint of freshness … however, so far not much fun
Next update within two hours ...
